Candle Care
Candle Care & Safety
Caring for your candle properly ensures a clean burn, a longer life, and a beautiful glow every time you light it.
Before You Light
Trim the wooden wick to ¼ inch before each burn. This helps prevent excess smoke and allows the candle to burn evenly and safely.
First Burn Matters
Allow your candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface. This prevents tunneling and helps your candle last longer.
During Use
- Always burn on a heat-safe surface
- Keep away from drafts, pets, and children
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Enjoy the gentle crackle and warm glow as part of your ritual.
Stone Care
Once the wax has melted and your stone is revealed, blow out the flame and allow the wax to cool slightly. Use the tool provided to carefully remove the stone—never place your hands into hot wax. Rinse with warm water and keep it as a reminder of the intention you’ve set.
When to Stop Burning
Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel, or when you see metal wick base.
Reuse & Repurpose
Our vessels are designed to be reused. Once finished, gently clean out remaining wax and enjoy the jar as a keepsake, planter, or holder for meaningful items.
